FLOWERS FOR MARY

Flowers can be used as a symbol for many things and, in the Church, are associated with Mother Mary. They are also used to honor her (just like we give flowers to special people in our lives).

Children can make a bouquet for Mary. An easy method to make paper roses is to cut paper circles into spirals, and then start rolling the paper from the outer side.

You can also simply glue cupcake liners on a page.

Perhaps you can play a song about Mary while children make these, and then organize for them to be displayed on or around an altar honoring Mary.
